About the role:

This position is essential in ensuring that students are physically and mentally prepared to learn, providing immediate care for injuries and illnesses, and promoting a healthy school culture. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate approach and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed.
Conduct health assessments and screenings for students, including vision and hearing tests.
Maintain accurate health records and documentation for each student.
Administer medications and manage chronic health conditions in students.
Educate students and staff on health-related topics, including nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
Collaborate with parents and guardians to address health concerns and promote student wellness.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and school policies.
Act as a liaison between the school and local health services.
Participate in school events and health fairs to promote health awareness.

Preferred Candidate:

Experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Knowledge of health education and promotion strategies.
Fluency in both Arabic and English.

Skills

Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills.
Knowledge of child development and pediatric health issues.
Ability to administer medications and understand pharmacology.
Proficient in maintaining health records and documentation.
Familiarity with health education and promotion.
