We ara fast-growing environmental company specializing in the collection and recycling of used oil across the Gulf region. We operate in multiple countries and are expanding our operations and team at our Jordan head office. We are looking for a driven and organized individual to join us as an HR and Business Support Officer to help manage daily operations and support company growth.
Job Summary:
The HR and Business Support Officer will play a vital role in managing HR functions and providing administrative support across departments. This includes employee coordination, documentation, recruitment, reporting, and supporting various business activities. The role requires someone highly organized, discreet, and fluent in both Arabic and English.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Duties:
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and attendance
- Manage leave tracking, performance reviews, and employee compliance
- Support communication with branch offices regarding HR policies and staff needs
- Ensure company policies are up to date and adhered to
Business & Administrative Support:
- Prepare business correspondence, reports, and internal communications
- Assist in document control and ensure organized filing systems (digital and physical)
- Support general management in daily operations, scheduling, and travel arrangements
- Coordinate with external stakeholders (lawyers, auditors, government agencies) when needed
- Follow up on pending tasks and deadlines with departments and country offices
- Provide executive assistance to senior management when required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in HR or business support roles
- Fluent in Arabic and English (both written and verbal)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Discretion, reliability, and a professional attitude
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities under pressure
- Ability to travel across multiple counties in GCC to preform specific business projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a regional or multinational company
- Knowledge of labor laws in Jordan and GCC countries is a plus
