Finance & Strategy Analyst
LetsGetChecked is seeking a motivated and analytical F&S Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. Reporting to the Finance & Strategy Senior Manager, this position will be instrumental in driving financial planning, business forecasting, and in-depth data analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong data modelling capabilities and a willingness to contribute to a range of finance generalist duties. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and play a key role in supporting our global business operations from our Dublin office.
Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation, review, and presentation of group forecasts.
- Develop, maintain, and improve financial models and analytical tools to support strategic initiatives, business decisions, and scenario planning.
- Perform data modelling and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in driving cost efficiency projects and initiatives across various business units.
- Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required by the wider finance team.
- Work collaboratively with the wider finance team, including Financial Reporting, on monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
- Engage in finance generalist duties, supporting the broader finance function as needed.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments to understand business objectives and provide financial insights.
What We're Looking For...
- A minimum of 3+ years of relevant industry experience in a finance, FP&A, or analytical role.
- Excellent modelling skills with experience in building and maintaining consolidated integrated models from scratch in Excel (be prepared for a case study).
- Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work on own initiative.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Self-starter; Enthusiastic; Analytical; Works well under pressure, with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with stakeholders at all levels.
- Good business acumen and an understanding of key financial principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Experience with Power Query, SQL and data visualisation tools a plus (Looker)
