We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Development to lead and expand our consulting business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in generating business within the construction, infrastructure, and engineering sectors, preferably from a consulting or expert advisory background. This is a senior leadership role focused on client acquisition, relationship management, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with the firm’s growth objectives in Saudi Arabia.
• Identify, engage, and convert opportunities across major clients including contractors, developers, law firms, consultants, and government entities.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the construction, infrastructure, energy, and legal sectors.
• Lead the preparation of proposals, presentations, and pitches for high-value consulting engagements (claims, delay analysis, expert witness, project advisory).
• Collaborate with technical and legal teams to tailor solutions and offerings based on client needs.
• Monitor market trends, tender announcements, and regulatory changes impacting the industry.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
• Recruit and mentor BD team members as the business grows.
• Report regularly to senior management on pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue targets.
Skills
Candidate Profile
• Minimum 10+ years of business development experience, with at least 5 years in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong network in the construction, infrastructure, legal, or engineering consulting sectors within the Kingdom.
• Proven ability to close high-value consulting or advisory deals.
• Background working with claims consultants, project management firms, law firms, or expert witness practices is highly preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of local business culture and regulatory environment in KSA.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Law, or related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
