Cargo Reservations & Customer Service Executive (Riyadh, Jeddah, & Dammam)A leading cargo industry in Saudi Arabia is seeking experienced (3) Cargo Reservations & Customer Service Executive for assignment in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam. This role involves handling cargo reservations, coordinating shipments, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of air cargo operations. The position is critical to ensuring smooth communication with customers, ground handling agents, and airline principals while maximizing revenue and operational performance.Key Responsibilities:Cargo Reservations & Planning- Process air cargo bookings and plan shipments according to capacity and revenue targets.- Coordinate booking priorities with Inside Sales or the Sales Manager.- Provide updated flight schedules, promotions, and tariff rates to customers.- Monitor cargo space allocations and identify shipment acceptability.- Track and update customers on the status of their shipments.- Actively solicit cargo bookings through calls and E-Mail communications. Customer Service & Communication- Answer customer inquiries and calls in a courteous and efficient manner.- Offer proactive solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.- Ensure timely resolution of issues to prevent complaints and service disruptions. Relationship Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with cargo agents, GSA staff, ground handling agents, and airline partners.- Proactively communicate delays or service disruptions to customers.Product & Service Presentation- Keep customers informed about the latest products, services, tariffs, and promotions.- Conduct training sessions on new products for cargo agents.Reporting- Prepare and submit weekly reports on service failures, pending shipments, and overall activity.
Qualifications:- 3-5 years of experience in cargo reservations with an international airline, GSSA, consolidator, or freight forwarder.- Preferably trained in IATA Basic Cargo handling.- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.- Proactive, self-motivated, and a team player with an enthusiastic approach.- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
