My client a leading PMC is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Project Director to lead the successful delivery of complex construction projects in Riyadh.This position requires a strong leader with a proven track record in managing large-scale projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership: * Provide overall leadership and direction to the project team, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives. * Establish and maintain effective communication channels with the client, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.Project Planning & Execution: * Oversee the development and implementation of the project master plan, including scope, schedule, and budget. * Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and challenges, and implement mitigation strategies. * Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, codes, and standards.Contract Management: * Manage and administer construction contracts, including reviewing and negotiating variations and claims. * Ensure timely and accurate payment certifications.Quality Management: * Implement and maintain a robust quality management system to ensure the project meets the highest standards. * Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.Team Management: * Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. * Mentor and develop team members.Stakeholder Management: * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and authorities. * Represent the project in meetings and presentations.
Qualifications and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. * Minimum of 20 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 10 years in a Project Director or similar leadership role. * Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects. * Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. * Experience working in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable. * Knowledge of local regulations and construction practices in Riyadh.
