•Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.•Respond to helpdesk tickets, troubleshoot problems, and escalate issues as needed.•Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.•Support users with Microsoft Windows OS, Office 365 applications, and other enterprise software.•Monitor system performance and report any irregularities to senior IT staff.•Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory.•Participate in IT infrastructure projects such as system upgrades, network configuration, and security enhancements.•Maintain IT documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting logs.•Stay updated with the latest IT trends, security best practices, and industry standards.
•Education: Diploma in IT Networking, System Administration, or a related field.•Co-op Training: Completion of an IT-related co-op training program.•Basic understanding of IT networking, Windows operating systems, and troubleshooting methodologies.•Knowledge of IT support tools, ticketing systems, and remote support software is a plus.•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.•Excellent communication and customer service skills.•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.•Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise in IT infrastructure.•Basic knowledge with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 administration.•Familiarity with networking concepts such as LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.•Awareness of cybersecurity principles.
