Our Multi National Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Sustainability Consultant to join their team in Riyadh to work as a client representative managing design review & certification compliance on LEED / MOSTADAM new build projects in the Kingdom. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Sustainability Consultant in a similar capacity. Only candidates with a background in Architecture and a proven track record of working for recognized supervision consultants or PMC Companies will be considered.This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 6 month contract position hire as an outsource, employed by J10 Consulting.Key Responsibilities:•Conduct sustainability assessments and implement green building strategies•Ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulations•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals•Provide technical advice on sustainable design and construction practices•Preparation and quality control of the green building design documentation as well as project specifications, calculations, plans and submitals•Develop technical and non-technical reports as per scopes of assigned projects and ensure high quality of deliverables•Contributions to regional publications, lectures, teaching•Personal development and plan to develop skills necessary
Sustainability Consultant Experience:•Proven proficiency in sustainable design principles and green building certifications•A minimum of 5 years of experience in Architecture with a focus on sustainability within the built environment sector•GCC experience is essential•In-depth knowledge of architectural materials in the KSA/UAE market, with the ability to recommend materials that achieve the required embodied energy and carbon reductions.•Familiarity with environmental standards and regulations.•Excellent presentation, communication, and graphical presentation skills (Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator).•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.•Excellent planning and organization skills for keeping up with fast-paced settings.•Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.•LEED AP BD+C credential required, LCA experience is a plus.
