Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a NFPA Qualified Fire Training Officer/Manager to be engaged on a permanent basis to support on an international airport project in Saudi Arabia!Key Purpose:The Fire Training Officer/Manager will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to Fire & Rescue staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. This role involves managing the design, development, and delivery of training in compliance with local and international standards (GACA/NFPA/ICAO), ensuring personnel are fully competent in their roles to maintain a 24/7 aviation-focused Rescue & Firefighting Service (RFFS).Key Accountabilities:Support the Fire Chief in leading and managing the RFFS operations.Ensure RFFS performance meets all operational requirements for the specified Airport Category.Develop and deliver training programs aligned with regulatory frameworks, including ICAO, GACA, CAA, CAP 699, and NFPA standards.Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.Provide technical guidance and manage the personal development and career progression of fire service personnel.Oversee practical and theoretical exercises, ensuring compliance with international standards.Supervise daily training operations, vehicle readiness, and equipment serviceability.Maintain a safe working environment and oversee station duties related to training.Conduct client/customer engagements, interface with airport departments, and provide educational fire and safety programs.Ensure personal and team physical fitness and medical standards are met.Perform additional duties as assigned, including acting as Station Captain in emergency situations and deputizing for senior roles as needed.Benefits:Full relocation will be provided along with accommodation, transport and foodCompetitive salaryOpportunities for growth and development For more information on this role or to register your interest for future job updates, please visit www.westlakesrecruit.co.uk Powering a Diverse Future: As an equal opportunities business, we value applications from all backgrounds, cultures and abilities.
