We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Functional Specialist - SAP FI/CO to join our client's dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO consulting roles, with expertise in the implementation, support, and optimization of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our SAP landscape, ensuring the smooth operation and improvement of financial systems.Key Responsibilities:Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP FI/CO modules, providing expert advice and guidance to both internal teams and external partners on best practices, configuration, and integration.Lead the configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP FI/CO modules for new implementations and ongoing upgrades. Ensure the system aligns with business requirements and industry standards.Work closely with key business stakeholders to understand financial and controlling business processes and translate these into SAP solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy.Customize the SAP FI/CO modules to meet specific business needs, including financial reporting, controlling, asset management, and integration with other modules (MM, SD, etc.). Proactively identify areas for process improvement and optimization.Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP FI/CO. Develop and conduct training sessions for business users on system functionality, features, and processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP BASIS, ABAP developers, and external vendors, to ensure seamless system integration and data flow between SAP modules and other business applications.Monitor system performance and functionality, and manage the planning and execution of system enhancements and upgrades. Keep up to date with new SAP releases, patches, and best practices in SAP FI/CO.Prepare detailed documentation for system configurations, process flows, and support materials. Provide periodic reporting and analysis to senior management regarding the performance of SAP FI/CO systems.Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial regulations, and global SAP standards to maintain data integrity and security.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.5+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO consulting, with a proven track record of successful SAP implementations and optimizations.In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and SAP CO (Controlling) modules, including configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.Experience working with other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales and Distribution) is a plus.Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, management accounting, and internal controls.Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable, but not required.Proficient in SAP reporting tools (e.g., SAP Fiori, SAP BI) and financial reporting standards.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.SAP certifications in FI/CO or related areas are a plus.Expert in SAP SD module (sales orders, pricing, billing, etc.).Implement, configure, and support SAP FI module (GL, AP, AR, AA).Willing to work in Saudi Arabia
