The Instrumentation Technician plays a crucial role in the Paper & Paper Product Manufacturing industry, ensuring that all instrumentation and control systems operate efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair instrumentation and control systems in the manufacturing facility.
- Calibrate and test instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all maintenance activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance instrumentation processes.
- Provide training and support to production staff on instrumentation and control systems.
- Assist in the development of maintenance schedules and procedures for instrumentation.
