Job Scope:
Develop, control and conduct analyses on financial information to make well-informed decisions. Ensure future stability, profitability and growth by timely creating and submitting analysis and reports to the concerned stakeholders. Provide support and performs accounting analysis, interprets data and generates reports that will support the decision making of the management. Maintains the financial policies and manage information systems. Analyze business performance on how to pre-empt problems and adapt to changing circumstances and developments. Conduct analysis in accordance with strategies and operational priorities.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the enhancement and development of business processes, operating procedures, policies and systems.
2. Ensure that all the staff acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate training programs.
3. Establish KPls and monitor the achievement of the KPls related to the annual performance objective. Drive the implementation of HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, procedures. Ensure appropriate HSE training is provided to all the employees to meet HSE standards.
4. Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends. Gather and summaries data for special reports.
5. Prepare various forecast data, reports, presentations and predicative analysis to visualize the general financial health of the company.
6. Produce financial reports including management profit and loss, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries liaising with YASREF cross functional department.
7. Assist in the production of the annual budget and periodic forecasting controlling and forecasting income and expenditure.
8. Provide management reports for decision-making, including project appraisal, evaluation and postimplementation analysis and assist to create business strategies to generate shareholder value.
9. Provide a variety of periodical & ad hoc reports mainly including Monthly Financial Performance, Performance Evaluation Presentation for YASREF Management and BOD Papers & presentation.
10. Monthly Profitability forecast to provide management with the profitability information for coming period. Close liaison with Manufacturing Planning for Inventory/Production forecast and Corporate Planning for Lifting Plan/Crude & Product price forecast.
11. Monthly Profitability Reporting Model linked with Hydrocarbon Inventory Accounting.
12. Ensure smooth running of SAP Product Costing and Profitability Analysis (PC-COPA) to enable YASREF business entities to achieve automation and better control over the processes of Standard Cost Estimation, Tracking of Actual Production Cost and Variances of Intermediate and Finished Goods. This also includes Profitability/Contribution Margin Analysis by the different market segments.
13. Preparation and monitoring of Crude & Product Prices and Crack Spread applicable to YASREF based on Crude & Refined Product Agreement (Standard Refined Products —SRP)
14. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations; work with Corporate Planning for Solomon KPI data production and information to Management on period basis.
15. Carry out continuous reviews of working accounting practices and processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations and act as advisory role for all accounting and business financial matters.
16. Manage trainee accountants, including day-to-day communication and motivation as well as succession planning and performance management.
17. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or equivalent.
