We are seeking a qualified Functional Safety Engineer to support the implementation, validation, and lifecycle management of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) in accordance with IEC 61511 standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all safety lifecycle activities are performed and documented in compliance with functional safety requirements.
Skills
• Strong working knowledge of IEC 61511, and familiarity with IEC 61508.
• Experience with safety lifecycle tools (e.g., exSILentia, SLC , PHA-Pro, BowTieXP).
• Familiarity with PLCs, DCS, ESD, and other safety-related hardware and software.
• Certified Functional Safety Professional (CFSP) or Certified Functional Safety Expert (CFSE) is highly desirable.
• Experience in commissioning and validating SIS in the field.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity for SIS (ISA/IEC 62443) is a plus.
• Experience in regulatory compliance and audits.
