Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead the engineering execution of offshore oil and gas projects from concept to commissioning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multi-discipline engineering teams, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring technical compliance, budget adherence, and timely delivery across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering activities for offshore oil and gas projects, including FEED, EPC, and commissioning phases.
- Oversee multi-disciplinary engineering teams (e.g., structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation).
- Manage engineering deliverables, schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with project management, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Ensure compliance with all client specifications, industry codes (API, ASME, DNV, ISO, etc.), and regulatory requirements.
- Interface with clients, vendors, and contractors for technical discussions and reviews.
- Review and approve engineering documents such as P&IDs, layouts, equipment specs, and datasheets.
- Identify engineering risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor engineering change requests and control scope creep.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) best practices are integrated into engineering design.
- Lead design reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, etc.) and participate in technical audits.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
- PMP or equivalent certification (preferred).
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in offshore oil & gas projects.
- Minimum 3-5 years in a project engineering management or leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering offshore topsides, subsea, or FPSO-related projects.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of offshore design codes and industry standards.
- Proficient in engineering tools/software (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, AVEVA, ETAP, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with international offshore projects (e.g., North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, Middle East).
- Familiarity with floating structures, risers, pipelines, or subsea infrastructure.
- Previous work with major EPC/EPCI contractors or oil companies.
