Overview:
This is a 6-month maternity leave cover position, requiring an immediate start. It offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in resource planning and workforce management within a dynamic, cross-border Advisory practice:
Resource planning is a critical business function at KPMG. It ensures that we have the right people, with the right skills, in the right locations, available at the right time. Working closely with the business, Resource Management ensures the effective utilization and development of our people.
Your role contributes significantly to KPMG delivering its business performance and also plays a key role in helping individuals at KPMG fulfil their career ambitions. The Resource Planning Team has overall responsibility for client facing professionals within their service area, which includes the assignment of resources at all levels using Retain Scheduling System (Retain).
The objective is to align individual career development and preferences with client assignment needs as well as the financial objectives of the business. This role will support our Advisory practice, where you will be working remotely across multiple geographies (Saudi Arabia / Jordan / Lebanon teams).
What you will do:
• Updating the system when there are new hires.
• Updating the scheduling system with new project bookings.
• Follow up on planned v actual discrepancies which impact utilization.
• Follow up on missing timesheet entries.
• Keeping track and plan Advisory employees’ vacation days and sick leaves.
• Working closely, support and collaboration with the wider Resourcing Team based in UAE & India.
• The role will require supporting the Resourcing Team with administrative tasks and Retain booking updates in the system.
• Data entry for resource planning.
• Produce resourcing reports using Excel/Power BI and send them to key stakeholders.
• Attend resourcing calls with client facing teams.
• This is a role where you can develop and grow with the team, increasing your responsibilities and tasks over time.
Role Requirements:
• Previous Resource Management experience within a large organization is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in any related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English & Arabic.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new software.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel.
• Confident to work with a remote team.
• Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism in the performance of duties.
• Strategic and innovative thinking skills with strong problem-solving and project management. skills, including the ability to understand the financial impact of relevant options.
