Job Purpose:
To support the Ma'aden – Jalamid Design and Engineering Department in piping systems, pump selection, and integration of new systems within operational industrial facilities (brownfield). Technical leadership in developing design criteria, producing detailed Technical Study Reports (TSRs), and ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety protocols, and project objectives.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
☑️ 1. Design Criteria Development
Develop and document mechanical design criteria by translating project and operational requirements into functional parameters.
☑️ 2. Technical Study Reports (TSRs)
Prepare TSRs with analysis of feasibility, sizing, installation challenges, and provide clear, technically sound recommendations.
☑️ 3. Piping Systems Engineering
Review and validate piping designs per ASME/API codes, interpret drawings and P&IDs, and coordinate brownfield modifications.
☑️ 4. Pump Selection and Integration
Select and size pumps based on system requirements, integrate into piping networks, and recommend control and instrumentation strategies.
☑️ 5. Brownfield Project Implementation
Conduct site surveys, identify integration risks, and coordinate with operations, HSE, and relevant teams for safe implementation.
Skills
✅ Key Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in mechanical/piping design, with a strong emphasis on brownfield industrial projects.
✅ Technical Skills:
Expertise in piping design standards (hashtag
#ASME B31.3, API, etc.)
Proficiency in interpreting and preparing engineering deliverables (P&IDs, piping isometrics, datasheets)
Competence in pump sizing tools and hydraulic calculations
Familiarity with engineering software tools such as hashtag
#AutoPIPE, hashtag
#CAESAR II, or similar
Project Exposure:
Large-scale industrial/mining projects.
Familiarity with Ma'aden project standards or other similar industrial clients is an advantage.

Contract: Project-based
Travel Requirements: Willing To Relocate (Jalamid)
Residence Location: Saudi Arabia – Valid and transferable Iqama holder.
Language: Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus
