•Business Representation:o Serve as the primary liaison between the business teams and the implementation project team.o Represent the voice of the business in all project meetings and decisions, actively seeking out and understanding business needs rather than expecting information to be provided.o Ensure proper documentation and translation of all functional requirements of Business including seamless transition of all necessary features from our current in-house system to the new platform, regulatory requirements, best global practices and futuristic requirementso Actively involved in Product Rationalization-High level business design and proposal of the products based on EIS Model Products, while defining the Epics and Features for General Line of business. o Support in Cutover & migration approach, Delivery plan-Overall integrated EIS project plan for both General line of business •Project Execution:o Take a hands-on approach to drive project execution, working with the project team to ensure deliverables are met.o Act as a facilitator and doer, not just a manager or consultant, engaging directly in tasks and processes to relieve the workload of business teams.•Hands-On Involvement:o Engage with the project team to understand technical requirements and provide input from a business perspective.o Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.•Stakeholder Communication:o Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders across business lines.o Ensure consistent and transparent communication between the business team and project team.o Prepare and present project reports, updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.•Change Management and Best Practices:o Assist in developing and implementing change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of the new system.o Be a strong proponent of change and advocate for best practices based on previous project experience.o Suggest improvements and innovations to optimize business processes and system functionality.•Support Conflict Resolution and Consensus Building:o Navigate the complexities of large-scale implementations by building consensus among stakeholders.o Resolve conflicts effectively and ensure conflicts do not hinder project progress.o Promote a collaborative and positive working environment to facilitate successful project execution.•Document Management and Approval:o Manage formal reviews & ensure timely signing of document deliverables, representing the business teams' approval.o Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and reflects the agreed-upon business requirements.
•EIS Core Insurance Expertise: Bring hands-on experience with the EIS core insurance platform, including implementation, configuration, and support during migration.•Business Alignment:o Ensure all business requirements are accurately captured, documented, and communicated to the project team.o Maintain alignment between project objectives and business goals.•Hands-On Leadership:o Actively engage in the day-to-day tasks and activities required for project success, setting an example for the team.o Be willing to do the leg work needed to gather information and drive project progress, without relying solely on the business teams.•Stakeholder Engagement:o Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.o Lead discussions and negotiations to resolve conflicts and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.•Project Accountability:o Take ownership of project deliverables related to business inputs.o Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to schedules.•Risk Management:o Identify, assess, and manage project risks related to business processes.o Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.•System Testing and Validation:o Oversee the development and execution of test cases to validate system functionality.o Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business teams.• Document Review and Approval:o Oversee the formal review process and ensure timely approval of all document deliverables in coordination with business stakeholders
