The Role:
We are searching for a dynamic, proactive, high-energy person to join our growing team. Reporting to the Senior Manager Funding Solutions, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a key role in funding the growth of Irish and UK SMEs.
The position is based at the company's head office in Belfield Office Park, Clonskeagh, Dublin with 4 days (Monday to Thursday) in the office and remote working on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
- Evaluating the financials and business information of potential customers to assess their suitability for funding.
- Interacting with relevant stakeholders - internal and external - to assess suitability and manage the onboarding process - Credit Team, Funding Team, Funders, Referring Partners, Private Equity, VCs, Credit funds, Corporate Finance, large Accounting Firms etc.
- Attending customer meetings with team members & Founders in order to establish funding requirements and understand business models.
- Assist in modelling funding solutions and structuring funding facilities to meet these requirements.
- Prepare submissions to the Financefair Credit Team (Credit paper, Financial Analysis, Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis, Commercial and Yield Analysis, Risk Analysis) in line with agreed policy and manage this process as require.
- Prepare Memorandums of Expression of Interest/Deal Summaries for sharing with external funders.
- Assist New Customers in the onboarding process ensuring all Facility Documentation, Legal Documentation and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and KYC information has been processed and all credit information has been provided by the Customer.
- Assist New Customers with initial facility onboarding.
- Be able to articulate the Financefair Value Proposition to potential customers as required - from initial conversation through to funding structures and ultimately facility management.
- Professional Development - Identify and undertake suitable training/courses, supported by Financefair to enhance your skillset and continuous professional development.
- Manage reporting from HubSpot, Quicksights and Financefair Admin Platform of Relevant Revenue Operations/Portfolio KPIs and insights.
Non-Core Responsibilities
- Assist with Go-To-Market Strategy and Related Work/Research.
- Complete Customer Success Management (CSM) tasks as required.
- Review Market Trends and Analyse for review by preparing one-page document at the end of each month with executive summary.
- Review business news in Ireland daily and identify prospective customers - summarise weekly on a Monday to share with team members.
- Assist with Ad-hoc cross functional requirements across the business - Marketing/Research/Competitor Analysis etc.

- Ability to work across multi-functional teams and stakeholders and to multi-task. Must be flexible, prioritise, work to deadlines and ensure completion in a timely manner.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- An ability to question and improve processes.
- Financial Modelling, budgeting and forecasting, particularly in the context of strategic growth finance solutions for our customers using Financefair funding structures.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentational skills with an ability to communicate in a professional and timely manner.
- Highly numeric with a razor-sharp attention to detail.
- Show a high level of commitment and professional work ethic / Self-motivated and able to use own initiative.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
- Interested in innovation, the business and funding landscape in Ireland and across the world.
