We are looking for a proactive Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This role is essential for ensuring adherence to safety regulations and fostering a culture of safety across all project sites. The successful candidate will be instrumental in safeguarding the health and well-being of employees while minimizing environmental impacts.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough daily safety inspections and audits at project sites to ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Facilitate safety inductions and toolbox talks to educate employees on safety practices and protocols.
- Monitor the implementation of safety procedures and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses, compiling comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Perform detailed risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies to address identified hazards.
- Assist in creating and implementing comprehensive HSE plans tailored to specific projects and environments.
- Collaborate closely with SEC HSE representatives and project engineers to ensure alignment on safety initiatives.
- Ensure that emergency preparedness and response procedures are established, communicated, and regularly tested to maintain readiness.
