Job Title: Finance Manager (Most senior Finance Role on the Project)Company: An Engineering ContractorLocation: Jeddah, Saudi ArabiaReports to: Project DirectorProject: Over 1 billion SAR Infrastructure Project (2-3+ yrs)Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of a major engineering project in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies. This role plays a critical part in the financial health and success of the project.Key Responsibilities:-Develop and manage the project budget in coordination with the project and commercial teams.-Monitor project financial performance and provide timely variance analysis and recommendations.-Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.-Oversee cost control, cash flow forecasting, and funding requirements throughout the project lifecycle.-Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian financial regulations, tax laws (including VAT and Zakat), and corporate governance.-Liaise with external auditors, banks, and government authorities as needed.-Implement and maintain strong financial controls, accounting procedures, and risk management frameworks.-Coordinate with procurement, contract, and operations teams for financial evaluations and progress tracking.-Assist in claims preparation, change orders, and contractual financial negotiations.-Manage the finance team on-site and support their development and performance.
Qualifications:-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).-Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA is highly desirable.-Minimum 15+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 3–5 years in a similar role on a large engineering or infrastructure projects.-Prior experience working in Saudi Arabia or GCC is preferred.-Strong knowledge of IFRS and local KSA regulations (including ZATCA requirements).-Proficiency in financial software - Oracle ERP system-Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.-Bilingual (Arabic and English) is an advantage.
