- Prepare and manage bills of quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and ensure accurate measurement of materials and works.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations for accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
- Monitor project costs, prepare cost reports, and manage variations and claims.
- Perform value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with project teams to address cost-related issues and ensure budget control.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Must hold a transferable Iqama and be able to join immediately.
