Responsibilities:
IT Technical Support & Helpdesk Management
- Provide first-line technical support for employees, responding to IT support tickets and calls.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist users with software installations, troubleshooting, and updates.
- Set up and maintain peripherals (printers, scanners, IP phones).
- Manage Microsoft Office 365 user administration (account creation, access permissions, troubleshooting).
- Support and configure Teams, and OneDrive for employees.
- Deploy and update software using SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)
IT Assets Administration & Management
- Install, configure, maintain, and track laptops for Amin Kawar & Sons and group companies.
- Document and manage IT hardware inventory, ensuring proper asset utilization.
- Maintain software installation and licensing compliance.
- Prepare and configure new and old laptops, including OS installation, software setup, and profile migration.
- Securely wipe and format old computers before repurposing or donation.
- Ensure IT asset purchasing, maintenance, and repairs are handled efficiently, coordinating with vendors
- when needed.
Network & Security Support
- Provide basic network support, including troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Assist in data center installation, organization, and maintenance.
- Support the configuration of wireless access points.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in the related field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and IT asset management.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, and basic networking.
- Familiarity with peripheral setup (printers, scanners, IP phones).
- Knowledge of basic troubleshooting for network and security issues.
- Software installation, licensing, and endpoint management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities. o Ability to multitask and manage IT support requests effectively.
