Job Purpose
The Senior Specialist – Operational Readiness is responsible for assisting with the preparation of Operational Readiness documents and activities including maintaining accurate data and reports, highlighting areas requiring attention and subsequently assisting the team to problem solve ensure a smooth operation within the Operational Readiness team. Involved in the role will also be involvement in the creation of strategic processes which integrate with various stakeholders within the RSG company. The Operational Readiness Specialist will be facilitating with data preparation for use in reporting as well as monitoring email inboxes and ensuring timely replies.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Contribution
· Ensure that the strategy is translated into operational business plans for the Operational Readiness function and monitor the performance and execution of those plans to achieve functional objectives and deliver the company’s strategy.
Functional Management
- Assist in ensuring that all the project developments are aligned with the RSG’s overall strategy and will support the development, success, achievement and establishment of the strategic direction;
- Follow all relevant project delivery division policies, processes, and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner;
- Support the Operational Readiness team members in efficient reporting of different data;
- Participate in the production of presentations and reports for internal and external use;
- Provide support to other departments within the Project Delivery, when needed;
- Assist Operational Readiness team in the planning and coordination of programs’ / projects’ mobilization strategy. Take on administrative duties and independently manage some program/projects elements;
- Assist in monitoring projects/programs mobilization progress, following up with stakeholders on the changes, delays or completion of employee mobilizations;
- Assist in coordinating meetings with other internal and external stakeholders to create informative reports, presentations, and executive summaries.

Continuous Improvement
· Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the Operational Readiness function’s systems, processes and practices considering international best practice, business process improvement, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture / Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of (4) years of related experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Previous work experience in the Middle East
