Our client is a leading hospitality, catering and service provider in KSA, operating across aviation, oil & gas, healthcare, construction, and remote industries.They are currently seeking for a Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs (KSA National) to be based in Jeddah. The successful candidate will implement and assure of food quality, food safety and hygiene standards. To constantly review and keep abreast of the development for continual development & improvement. Ensuring that products & process are safe and meet the highest quality standards while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Main Roles & Responsibilities will include:•Develop and implement food quality, food safety and hygiene policies, procedures, and standards based on the best practices and regulatory requirements in accordance with ISO 9001, HACPP, ISO 22000, ISO 45000 & customer requirements•Develops strategies and goals to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in food and local content.•Regularly update food safety and hygiene management system, food quality management system.•Supervise food quality, food safety and hygiene training and awareness sessions for all employees, contractors, and vendors, and ensure that their behavior is aligned with the established standards.•Monitor food quality, food safety and hygiene performance of vendors and suppliers, and conduct supplier audits and risk assessments as needed.•Resolve any food quality, food safety and hygiene incidents, including product recalls, customer complaints, and non-compliance cases, and provide recommendations and corrective actions to prevent them from recurrence.•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the food quality, food safety and hygiene standards are integrated into the overall business processes and objectives.•Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, standards, and regulations regarding food quality, food safety and hygiene, and communicate them effectively to the relevant stakeholders.•Implementing and improving the Food Safety, Regulatory, QHSE system, programs, and procedures and keeping records of all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment related documents.•Coordinates with the relevant Department for special inspection as deemed necessary.•Company’s focal points with competent authorities in all topics related to food, scientific research, and local content. •Supervise the preparation and submission of applications and reports to applicable competent authority in all topics related to Food Regulatory Affairs, scientific research, and local content. •Keep abreast of any new or updated regulations, standards, requirements, and scientific research domestically and internationally.
•Bachelor’s \ master’s degree in food science, Nutrition or related field required•Minimum of 8 years of experience in food quality, food safety and hygiene management, preferably in the food and beverage industry•Strong knowledge of food quality, food safety and hygiene regulations, standards, and best practices, such as HACCP, ISO 22000, SFDA, and EU regulations•Knowledge of national and international technical regulations.•Extensive knowledge of applicable government regulations, scientific research, and local content. •Excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
