Your Role: In this role you will enhance the profitability of the pharmacy unit being handled, administer the team in the unit, maintain & monitor the display & merchandising standards of the unit, as well as adherence to QC standards & all other regulatory standards of the pharmacy unit by means of effective administrative ability, effective coordination with various departments & staff, following set standards and monitoring the stock of the unit. •Compound, dispense, and advise on medications as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety.•Instruct customers on proper medication use, potential side effects, and necessary precautions.•Process and approve insurance prescriptions, ensuring accurate billing and compliance with regulations.•Maintain detailed customer records, verify prescriptions, and manage controlled substances.•Ensure strict adherence to Quality Control (QC), DSES standards, and regulatory guidelines in all pharmacy operations.•Implement and monitor SOPs, legal regulations, and company policies to ensure operational excellence.•Oversee store opening/closing, create and monitor staff duty rosters, and uphold workplace discipline.•Promote in-house brands and execute sales strategies to achieve gross profit and sales targets.•Build relationships with nearby doctors and healthcare providers to increase prescription referrals.•Conduct regular market analysis to track competitor activities and report insights to management.•Organize promotional campaigns in collaboration with the area manager to boost pharmacy sales.•Supervise inventory control, stock monitoring, and ensure availability of essential medications.•Coordinate with the purchase department to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages.•Ensure strict compliance with the “Target Zero” expiry drive to minimize expired products.•Maintain the best product mix in consultation with the area manager to align with customer demand.•Train and mentor team members to enhance performance, product knowledge, and customer service skills.•Monitor staff adherence to customer service protocols, pharmacy regulations, and operational standards.•Foster a positive and professional work environment that enhances team efficiency and morale.•Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries with professionalism and care.•Ensure a safe, clean, and well-organized pharmacy environment at all times.•Manage pharmacy documentation, maintain accurate operational records, and oversee daily transactions.•Perform additional administrative tasks to ensure seamless pharmacy and store operations.
Education & Experience: •Bachelors in pharmacy or pharmacology. •4-5 years of experience in retail/operations. •Proven experience in pharma retail. •Certification or license in DHA, MOH or HAAD/DOH. •Experience certificate from previous pharmacy (if applicable).•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and software applications, used by pharmacies.
