Role Overview
Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist (Hybrid)
Location: Amman, Jordan (with remote flexibility)
As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will own the end-to-end hiring process with a strong emphasis on technical roles—software engineers, AI/ML developers, DevOps engineers, QA automation specialists, and related positions. You will build our technical employer brand, source and assess top talent, and collaborate with hiring managers to make data-driven hiring decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Technical Recruiting:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for software, AI/ML, DevOps, QA, and other technical functions.
- Screen resumes and portfolios; coordinate technical assessments and interviews.
- Employer Branding & Outreach:
- Create targeted campaigns (LinkedIn, GitHub, hackathons, meetups) to attract engineers and technical experts.
- Represent Mags at tech events, career fairs, and online forums.
- Interview & Selection Process:
- Partner with engineering leads to design role-specific interview guides and coding challenges.
- Ensure a consistent, positive candidate experience from first contact through offer negotiation.
- Data-Driven Hiring Decisions:
- Track and report on key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, offer acceptance).
- Continuously refine processes based on feedback and performance data.
- HR Compliance & Collaboration:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Coordinate with HR/business teams to facilitate onboarding and ensure smooth integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of proven experience in full-cycle recruiting for technical roles (software development, AI/ML, DevOps, etc.)
- Strong understanding of technical skill sets, programming languages, cloud platforms, and development workflows
- Expertise in employer branding within technical communities (open source, developer conferences, online forums)
- Excellent interviewing skills, including designing and evaluating technical assessments
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple searches simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for engaging engineers and technical experts
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment metrics, and data-driven sourcing techniques
