However, it is our presence at the community level and the historic relationships that we have within these communities that define JOHUD as an organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the overall guidance of the inclusion team leader, Inclusion Officer (elderly) provides care and support for the vulnerable or has no suitable place of residence/support person, unaccompanied older individuals who are unable to care for themselves through enrolling them in homecare and shelter services. On the same hand, grant the older people social and recreational activities through integrating them in the elderly club.
The successful Inclusion Officer must be able to undertake independently the following tasks:
- Mobilize target groups according to service standards
- Oversee and monitor the progression of the implementation of the elderly services
- Oversee and monitor care volunteers
- Coordinate with the concerned centers for the purpose of implementing the activity across different location
- Prepare the activity plan and the topics to be applied
- Allocate the needed resources for the implementation of the activity
- Conduct and document filed visit, focus group discussion, key information visit and other qualitative procedures
- Collect, analyze, check, and monitor qualitative and quantitative reports, in coordinate with the inclusion team leader.
- Play the Advisory role on identifying new area for activity implementation.
- Coordinate and participate in development of workshops/training courses.
- Develop and review monthly expenditure plans
- Coordinate with the finance, logistics, and procurement departments.
- Develop action plans for the elderly services component
- Maintain flexibility to take on added responsibility as and when needed
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in humanitarian field or social work, or related field
Experience:
- At least 3-5 years’ experience after graduation implementing humanitarian project.
- Past experience with NGO is preferable.

Language Requirements:
- Good command in Arabic and English.
