General Manager – RiyadhCLIENTLinum Consult’s client is a major aggregates company. They are currently seeking a General Manager to oversee all the P&L activities and Business Development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.RESPONSIBILITIES•Managing the profit and loss of the company•Developing and planning yearly budgets and relevant forecasts on sound economic and market factors and ensuring such factors are met by the most cost-effective means•Setting up the invoicing servicing in coordination with the finance department•Ensuring quality levels and standardising the delivery of products, materials and services to clients•Maintaining and developing relationships with strategic accounts and business partners•Aiding the Business Development team by using existing contacts and creating new business opportunities•Assisting the credit control team in the chasing of late payments•Remaining abreast of market conditions/trends and directing action towards capitalising on prevailing opportunities and implementing adequate actions to combat threats
•At least 8 years’ experience within the aggregates industry, working for PMCs or main contractors•Degree qualification in Business Management or related field•Demonstrable history of managing profit and loss activities, business development, and financial services•Excellent planning and budgetary skills•Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels•Fluency in spoken and written English
