We are seeking for a Facility Manager with electrical engineering background for one of our clients based in Riyadh, KSA. A Facilities Manager in the FM industry with an electrical engineering background is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and safety of building systems, with a strong focus on electrical infrastructure. Key duties include managing preventive and corrective maintenance of power distribution, lighting, UPS, and backup systems; ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards; coordinating vendors and contractors; and optimizing energy efficiency. The role also involves budgeting, asset tracking, technical troubleshooting, and leading in-house maintenance teams. Strong reporting, risk management, and emergency response capabilities are essential to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and compliant facility operations.
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)•Additional certifications in Facility Management (e.g., IFMA, CFM, FMP) are highly preferred•Certifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) and energy management (e.g., LEED, CEM) are an advantage•Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles in facility operations and maintenance•Proven experience managing electrical systems in large commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities•Proficiency in CMMS, CAFM systems, MS Office, and energy monitoring software
