We are seeking an experienced General Manager Projects (PMO Head) to oversee the construction of industrial plants in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Join us in making a significant impact in the industrial landscape of Saudi Arabia!Responsibilities:- Lead and manage multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.- Develop comprehensive project plans that align with company objectives and client expectations.- Coordinate and oversee the work of project managers and site teams, providing guidance and support as necessary.- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations and collaboration.- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards throughout all project phases.- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve project goals.- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting risks, progress, and issues.- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability. - Recruit, train, and mentor project staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management within the industrial construction sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.- Proven experience managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.- Strong understanding of construction processes, technologies, and safety regulations.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage diverse teams.- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.- Knowledge of project management software and tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
