Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven
Senior HR Officer to join our Human Resources team in
Amman, Jordan. This role contributes to policy development, regional compliance, employee relations, talent acquisition, and learning and development. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of progressive generalist HR experience, including multi-jurisdictional compliance and payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
- Support in the development, implementation, and improvement of HR policies and procedures
- Directly maintain employee records, ensuring compliance and confidentiality
- Coordinate employment offers, contracts, and documentation in coordination with legal and PRO partners
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Support the Group HR Manager is the recruitment cycle for all roles and in planning the logistics for assessment and recruitment open days.
- Contribute to the implementation of engaging onboarding programs.
- Embed employee journey mapping standards into hiring and onboarding processes as directed by the Group HR Manager.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Support in employee relations issues, ensuring fair and compliant resolutions as assigned by the Group HR Manager.
- Promote open communication, engagement, and inclusion across teams according the approved HR strategy.
- Coordinate with legal counsel in various regions to ensure HR decisions align with local laws.
Performance Management & Development
- Support in the performance management cycle and KPI development
- Support the Group HR Manager in employee development plans, coaching programs, and succession planning
- Generate reports designs to analyze performance trends and identify opportunities for improvement bsed on the direction of the Group HR Manager.
Learning & Development
- Support the Group HR Manager in assessing training needs and design impactful programs with department leaders
- Coordinate and manage logistics for workshops
- Create surveys and follow up to monitor training effectiveness to ensure continuous learning.
Compliance & HR Reporting
- Ensure legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Prepare regular HR analytics and strategic reports
- ensure compliance through internal HR audits and maintaining data integrity
HR Projects & Internal Communication
- Coordinate cross-functional HR projects focused on process improvement and digital transformation
- Create consistent internal communication regarding policies and initiatives as directed
- Mentor and support junior HR team members in their development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a multinational or regional group setting
- Experience managing payroll and HR compliance across jurisdictions
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a strong advantage
