About the Role - The incumbent reports to CHRO and will be responsible for handling end-to-end HR operations & strategy, Talent Acquisition & Management, Compliance, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Industrial Relations, Change Management, and digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities -
- Partner closely with factory HR & regional heads to develop and execute the organization’s Human Capital Management particularly in Company culture.
- Manage the Talent Acquisition process, especially identify and recruit the right potential talent for different roles; collaborate with departmental heads to understand the hiring needs and skills and competencies required for roles.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Provide strategic guidance and expertise to senior leadership in optimizing HR processes and supporting the business in Talent Acquisition & Development, and Total Rewards to develop and implement regional HR strategies, policies, and procedures that support the organization's overall goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with regional HRBP peers to help shape programs and initiatives to develop and engage employees in a purpose-centered workplace.
- Analyze trends in Compensation & Benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay scale to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talents and incentive rewards that are aligned to performance.
- Inculcate a culture of Performance Management through KPI/goal setting and performance evaluations.
- Introduce Learning & Development initiatives through in-depth analysis by business functions/units on skill and behavioral gaps to assure a high performing workforce.
- Stay informed of industry trends & insight, and best practices in HR, and proactively identify opportunities and lead the business process optimization effort from design to deployment to drive continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency, accuracy, and speed, through digital transformation and innovation initiatives for HR functions. Report to management to provide data-driven decision-making support through evidence-based HR analytics and metrics.
- Ensure Legal Compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations and recommend best practices; review policies and practices from time to time to maintain up-to-date trend and knowledge of regulatory requirements/changes for all locations. Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations when employee dispute or misconduct arise in the workplace.
Qualifications -
- Degree/ Postgraduate degree in Human Resources from a reputed organization.
- 15 plus years of experience in Human Resources Management, with working experience in Jordan with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the garment apparel industry is a must.
- Experience in handling 2000 plus multicultural workforce across multiple factory operations is a must.
