WHAT YOUR NEW JOB WILL BE ABOUT
As a Warehouse Operative, you play an important role in ensuring that your team work well together and deliver high quality work on time so that all goods leave the Warehouse on time.
Your role is to:
- Unload deliveries
- Ensure warehouse optimisation and organisation
- Pick and pack goods to ensure quick delivery
- Ensure optimal flow through clear structures and routines
- Be able to work with Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Collaborate across departments in Ireland and Denmark
- Living up to our JYSK Values; Tradesman, Colleague and Corporate spirit and Leadership; Leader, Coach and Communicator
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
- The motivation to work with people and ensure their development to create a better team
- The drive to deliver great results and continually strive to raise the bar on both quality and performance
- Experience from a similar position, preferably for a minimum of 1-2 years
- Experience in runners and machinery
- Experience in heavy lifting
- Ability to work independently in a busy working day
- Knowledges of Health and Safety regulations
- Good collaboration skills and the ability to communicate with colleagues
- Ability to work flexible hours as the job demands
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
15.50 per hour rising to 17.50 if you have forklift training
Currently have two shifts available to apply for Day & Evening:
Day Shift: 4 x 10 Hour Shifts (40 Hours per Week)
Evening Shift: 5 x 8 Hour Shifts (40 Hours per Week)
Shift Work from Monday - Sunday
Additional monetary Bonus if stay past one year
