Logistics Executive
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to manage and optimize our waste collection, transportation, and disposal operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics or supply chain management and a strong interest in sustainability and environmental practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily logistics for waste collection and disposal.
- Monitor vehicle routing, scheduling, and dispatch to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Liaise with vendors, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records of waste volumes, transport documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Optimize transportation routes to reduce costs and environmental impact.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Analyze logistics data and prepare reports for management review.
- Address operational issues and provide timely solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, preferably within the waste management or environmental services sector.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and logistics software.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and team coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management tools.
