Job Summary
Jo Academic is seeking a skilled and experienced HR Operations Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, social security, taxation, onboarding, offboarding, and time management.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management:
- Support the monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with
local labor laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries
and related taxes.
- Maintain employee payroll records and documentation.
Social Security And Taxation
Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and compliance with local tax regulations.
Serve as the point of contact for any tax-related inquiries or audits.
HR Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Manage employee records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
- Coordinate with the HR team to implement and maintain HR policies and procedures.
Time Management
- Oversee the time and attendance tracking system, ensuring accurate recording of
employee work hours.
- Monitor and validate employee time-off requests, vacation days, and other leaves.
- Provide reports and insights on employee attendance and time utilization.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in the education or technology sector.
- Proficient in payroll processing, social security, and taxation compliance.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using HR information systems and data analysis.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
