My client, a prestigious architectural practice in Riyadh is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Site Architect to join their dynamic team.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the architectural aspects of our projects on-site, ensuring that construction is executed in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. This role requires a strong background in hospitality and/or residential projects, with a preference for candidates who have experience in the Middle East hospitality sector.Key Responsibilities: * Site Supervision & Management: Lead and manage all on-site architectural activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant building codes and regulations. * Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures for all architectural works, conducting regular inspections and identifying/rectifying any deviations or defects. * Design Integrity: Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site architectural design clarifications and interpretations, resolving any design-related issues that may arise during construction. * Coordination: Liaise and coordinate effectively with project managers, construction managers, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. * Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including progress reports, inspection logs, and as-built drawings. Prepare regular reports for senior management on project status, challenges, and solutions. * Shop Drawing Review: Review and approve architectural shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards. * Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential site issues and work collaboratively with the project team to develop and implement effective solutions. * Health & Safety: Promote and enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on site. * Client Liaison: Attend site meetings and liaise with client representatives on architectural matters, ensuring client satisfaction. * Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architectural staff on site. Qualifications & Experience: * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design, or an equivalent qualification. * A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant professional experience as a Site Architect or in a similar role. * Essential: Proven experience in overseeing hospitality and/or residential construction projects. * Preferred: Significant experience in the Middle East hospitality sector, with a strong understanding of regional construction practices and standards. * In-depth knowledge of building codes, construction methodologies, materials, and on-site quality control procedures. * Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other project management tools. * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
