Westlakes Recruit is currently seeking a Nuclear Operations Specialist for an initial 6+ month assignment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role will support a major nuclear new build project and be responsible for evaluating vendor proposals, with a specific focus on plant operations, performance, and operating organisation.Role Overview:The successful candidate will join the client’s offer review Task Force and work in accordance with the Customer Bid Review procedure. You will be involved in the initial bid assessment and support clarification exchanges between the customer and vendors.Key Responsibilities:•Review vendor proposals with emphasis on operational performance and organisation.•Participate in bid reviews and support clarification phases.•Collaborate with international teams including EPC vendors and client-side representatives.•Maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive project details.

•Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a nuclear focus.•Qualified Nuclear Plant Operator.•9–15 years of relevant experience, including significant time as a Nuclear Plant Operator or Shift Manager.•Previous involvement in Operating Organisation roles preferred.•Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.•Able to build strong working relationships with multinational stakeholders.•Culturally aware and able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.Why Westlakes Recruit?Westlakes Recruit is a specialist people solutions business focused exclusively on the nuclear sector.
