•Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Controls Plan including scheduling, cost control, and reporting procedures.•Prepare and maintain the Master Project Schedule and ensure alignment with project milestones and deliverables.•Monitor progress, resources, and productivity across construction, commissioning, and procurement activities.•Establish and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics, tracking cost and schedule performance.•Support the Project Manager in budget planning, forecasting, and cost tracking.•Identify project risks and provide mitigation strategies, including schedule recovery plans.•Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to collect progress data and validate reports.•Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc project reports for senior management and client review.•Support change management and impact assessment for variations, claims, and delays.•Ensure data integrity in project control tools/software and maintain documentation for audits.•Conduct lessons learned and project close-out reporting related to project controls.
The Project Controls Manager ensures accurate planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and reporting, enabling effective project execution and decision-making by the Project Manager and leadership team & certified in Project Controls / Scheduling / Planning (e.g., PMI-PBA, PSP, AACE, Primavera P6) are highly desirable.
