The
HR Business Partner (Manager) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals. This role provides expert guidance on talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development while ensuring compliance with Jordanian labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Partnership:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives.
- Provide data-driven insights to improve workforce planning, retention, and productivity.
- Talent Management:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for key roles, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Drive succession planning, career development, and leadership pipeline initiatives.
- Oversee onboarding/offboarding processes for a seamless employee experience.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions per local labor laws.
- Develop engagement programs (surveys, recognition, wellness) to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Performance & Compensation:
- Implement performance management systems, guiding managers on goal-setting and feedback.
- Partner with Compensation & Benefits to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures.
- Compliance & HR Operations:
- Ensure adherence to Jordanian labor regulations (Social Security, contracts, terminations).
- Manage HR policies, audits, and reporting requirements.
- Learning & Development:
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs to enhance employee capabilities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 6+ years in HR, with 3+ years as an HRBP in Jordan (multinational experience a plus).
- Local Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Jordan labor laws and market practices.
- Skills: Strong consulting, negotiation, and analytical skills; fluency in English & Arabic.
- Certifications: CIPD, SHRM, or HR certifications preferred.
