Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and well-connected Head of Government Affairs to lead and manage our
company’s engagement with government entities in Saudi Arabia, particularly in Riyadh. The role is
pivotal to our growth and regulatory strategy, ensuring that we proactively build and sustain key
partnerships with Saudi ministries, regulatory authorities, and public sector stakeholders. You will serve
as the main point of contact with government institutions, advancing our public policy goals and aligning
our operations with national priorities in AI and digital innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
Government Engagement & Relationship Building
• Act as the primary liaison with Saudi government ministries, regulators, and public institutions.
• Build, nurture, and expand strategic relationships with government stakeholders at all levels
(national, regional, and municipal).
• Represent the company in formal meetings, conferences, and public-sector initiatives.
Strategy & Policy Advocacy
• Develop and implement a government affairs strategy that aligns with the company’s business
and regulatory goals.
• Monitor policy developments, regulations, and public initiatives impacting AI, data, and
technology.
• Advocate for public policies that enable innovation and support the growth of Saudi-based tech
startups.
Public Sector Collaboration
• Identify collaboration opportunities with government partners in AI, smart technologies, and
national digital transformation initiatives.
• Support business development by facilitating access to public-sector projects, grants, and R&D
partnerships.
Internal Alignment & Compliance
• Work cross-functionally with Legal, Product, Compliance, and Business Development teams to
ensure adherence to Saudi regulations and smooth public-sector engagement.
• Ensure full compliance with all government relations protocols, reporting requirements, and
ethical guidelines.
Reporting & Strategic Advisory
• Provide regular briefings and insights to the executive team on regulatory changes, stakeholder
interests, and policy trends.
• Advise leadership on business development opportunities relevant to the business.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in government affairs within Saudi Arabia.
• Strong network within key Saudi ministries and authorities, particularly in tech,
communications, and innovation sectors.
• Deep understanding of the Saudi Vision 2030 related to technology and use of AI, national
digital strategy, and AI-related policy frameworks.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills in Arabic and English.
• Experience working with or within a startup or tech-driven environment is a strong plus.
