The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of planning and coordinating logistics activities, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.Job Description:-Planning & Coordination: Develop and execute logistics plans covering transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory to ensure efficiency.-Transportation: Select carriers, negotiate rates, manage shipments, and ensure regulatory compliance while optimizing costs and delivery times.-Inventory: Monitor and control stock levels, coordinate with procurement/production, and use systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.-Warehouse: Oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch; ensure safe handling; and optimize space and processes.-Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to customs, transport, and legal requirements.-Site Logistics: Assess site-specific constraints, provide updates, and adapt plans accordingly.-Continuous Improvement: Track performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and adopt best practices and new technologies.
Qualifications:-15 Years’ experience including 3 years' experience on similar Projects with Middle East project experience.-Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.-Proven experience in logistics coordination and operations.-Strong knowledge of logistics principles, transport regulations, and inventory management.-Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Certifications:-CPIM or equivalent certification.-Experience with logistics software and technologies.-Knowledge of customs procedures and international trade regulations.
