Responsibilities:•Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.•Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.•Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.•Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business planning and decision-making.•Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and other regulatory requirements.•Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.•Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.•Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.•Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.•Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
•1 – 5 years of proven experience as Accountant preferably in the trading sector.•Excellent organization skills.•Great attention to detail.•Good with numbers and figures and has an analytical acumen,•Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.•Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP, AX).
