Job Summary:
This is a 360° marketing role serving as the Jordan liaison for four sub-functions within the Brand and Marketing team: Thought Leadership, Digital Marketing, PR, and Events. While the emphasis will be on content and social media management, the role also includes supporting business and internal events, coordinating with third parties such as event companies, photographers, videographers, and other vendors, and maintaining strong relationships with key internal stakeholders including business leads, the Office Managing Partner, and HR.
As the rest of the marketing team is based in other offices (Riyadh and Dubai), we are seeking a disciplined and motivated self-starter. Joining the Middle East marketing team will also offer opportunities for growth and increased responsibilities across the wider region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram) and develop campaigns based on thought leadership and other insights-driven topics.
- Support media coverage for key business and internal activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets.
- Draft and distribute press releases and media briefs.
- Plan and execute internal and external events, including company events, national celebrations (e.g., National Day, Eid), and KPMG Academy activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the successful execution of events.
- Lead leadership profiling by managing the LinkedIn presence of managing partners, including content drafting, posting on their behalf, and identifying speaking opportunities through media relations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to capture key updates and accomplishments.
- Maintain strong alignment with internal communications, impact, and people teams to support external messaging where applicable.
- Assist in drafting talking points and speeches for leadership.
- Ensure a consistent tone, high quality, and adherence to brand guidelines across all communication materials.
Qualifications:
Education requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English Literature/Language, Linguistics, International Relations/History, Translation, Marketing, PR.
Work experience requirements:
- 2-4+ years post-qualification experience in agency, financial services sector, government, consulting, etc.
Technical Skills:
- Affinity with content is the most important part.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) to an intermediate level.
