Job Summary:
The Store In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of inventory, stock movements, and warehouse operations while ensuring compliance with company policies. Mandatory knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module is required to manage transactions, deliveries, and reporting within the system.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory & Stock Management:
- Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure accurate stock records and conduct regular physical stock verifications.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
2. SAP SD Operations:
- Process goods receipts, issues, and transfers in SAP SD.
- Generate delivery notes, invoices, and shipping documents.
- Handle sales order, returns.
- Resolve discrepancies in SAP transactions.
3. Warehouse Coordination:
- Supervise loading/unloading activities and ensure proper storage.
- Maintain warehouse safety, hygiene, and organization.
- Coordinate with logistics for timely dispatches.
4. Documentation & Compliance:
- Ensure all store documents (GRN, invoices, waybills) are updated.
- Follow SOPs for inventory control and audit readiness.
5. Team Supervision:
- Train and guide store staff on SAP SD processes.
- Monitor team performance and ensure productivity.
6. Reporting:
- Prepare daily/weekly stock reports using SAP.
- Analyze inventory data and suggest improvements.
Experience: 5+ years in store/warehouse management. And at least 3+ years with SAP SD hands-on experience.
Work Conditions:
- May require standing for long hours and lifting heavy items sometimes.
- Full-time role with occasional overtime during audits/peak seasons.
Note: Candidates without SAP SD experience will not be considered.
Skills
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module (mandatory).
- Knowledge of inventory management best practices.
- MS Office (Excel for data analysis, PPT).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational & leadership abilities.
- Problem-solving and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP certification in SD/MM modules.
- Experience in [industry, e.g., retail, manufacturing, FMCG].
