We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Assistant to join our team in Dammam. The ideal candidate will be a Saudi national with a solid background in accounting or finance, experience handling day-to-day financial transactions, and a good understanding of local tax and compliance regulations. Proficiency in using finance-related platforms and ERP systems is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily accounting operations, including data entry, invoicing, and account reconciliation
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Process employee expense claims and ensure proper documentation and approval
- Monitor and track accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in preparing VAT reports and other financial statements required by local authorities
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with Saudi financial regulations and company policies
Familiarity with key Saudi financial systems and platforms is required, including:
- ZATCA (for VAT filing and e-invoicing – Fatoorah)
- GOSI (for employee insurance deductions)
- Mudad (for payroll/WPS compliance)
- Experience using localized ERP systems compliant with Saudi VAT and payroll laws (e.g., SAP, Zoho Books, Microsoft Dynamics)

Skills & Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong MS Excel skills; experience with accounting software is a plus
- Previous experience in a multinational company or multicultural environment
- Knowledge of Saudi tax regulations and financial reporting standards
- Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English
