We are currently seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and manage our Human Resources function in Amman, Jordan.
Role Overview
As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for driving and implementing HR strategies, policies, and best practices that align with FirstTech Group business goals and Jordanian labor laws. This position plays a key role in supporting organizational growth, ensuring employee satisfaction, and fostering a culture of performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Policy
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with local regulations and company objectives
- Provide strategic HR advice to management and recommend policy enhancements
Talent Acquisition & Retention
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention strategies
- Partner with department heads and external recruitment agencies to attract top talent
Performance & Talent Management
- Lead the performance management process, including reviews and development planning
- Support employee learning, training, and career growth initiatives
Compensation & Benefits
- Manage payroll, benefits administration, and compensation programs
- Ensure competitive and compliant rewards practices
Employee Relations
- Handle conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance processes
- Promote a positive, ethical, and collaborative workplace culture
Compliance & Risk
- Monitor compliance with Jordanian labor laws and company policies
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data confidentiality
Key Stakeholders
Internal: Department heads, employees, executive leadership
External: Ministry of Labor, legal counsel, recruitment firms, training providers
Decision-Making Scope
Operates within company policies and labor law frameworks. Authorized to recommend decisions related to hiring, disciplinary actions, and organizational development strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as an HR Manager, preferably within technology or fast-paced, growth-oriented companies
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) preferred
- Strong knowledge of Jordanian labor law and HR best practices
