Position Overview:
We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team and support a wide range of HR activities across the employee lifecycle. This is a generalist early-career role — ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in all areas of Human Resources.
You’ll work closely with the HR team to support initiatives related to performance management, learning & development, recruitment, culture and engagement, HR operations, and more. Think of it as an HR all-rounder role — a perfect foundation for a career in people & culture.
Responsibilities:
General HR Support
- Provide proactive, hands-on assistance across all HR functions in alignment with team priorities and evolving business needs.
- Organize and maintain both digital and physical HR documentation, including contracts, policies, templates, and personnel files.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating internal policies, SOPs, and standard templates.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager on internal communications related to key HR initiatives and organizational updates.
- Support HR project administration, including document preparation, stakeholder coordination, and filing.
Performance Management
- Assist in the planning and coordination of performance review cycles, including timeline tracking and communication with operating units.
- Maintain performance-related records and assist in analyzing appraisal data to support the development of targeted employee growth plans.
Learning & Development
- Support the implementation and tracking of L&D initiatives, including course enrollment, completion, and feedback analysis.
- Maintain accurate learning records and assist in preparing L&D reports and dashboards.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support the recruitment process by assisting with candidate screening, interview coordination, and job posting activities as needed.
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper documentation, communication, and HRMS updates.
HRMS & Systems Support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in the HRMS (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors).
- Assist with troubleshooting, system updates, and rollout of new HR technologies.
- Generate reports and ensure data integrity across platforms.
Job Descriptions & Role Clarity
- Support the standardization and continuous improvement of job descriptions by collecting data, refining content, and ensuring alignment with line managers across departments.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Respond to employee inquiries, escalating complex or sensitive issues when necessary.
- Coordinate logistics for HR events, training sessions, and special projects.
HR Data & Reporting
- Collect, verify, and prepare HR data for internal analysis and external reporting.
- Maintain HR trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collect and organize data inputs for HR systems and projects (e.g., HRMS employee data).
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Languages:
- Fluency in English & Arabic is a must.
Years of experience:
- 0-2 years of experience is required.
Key Competencies/Skills:
- Proficient in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative in a team-based environment.
- Familiarity with HRMS or systems like SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
